Issue Description
When installing Zerto version 5.5 on a Windows server, the user receives an MSI error during installation with the code 2147024894. Installation then exits without completing.
Resolution
Perform the following steps:
- Open an elevated Windows Command Prompt
- Type the following command:
- net start bits
- Open Add/Remove Programs from Control Panel
- Uninstall any Zerto programs currently listed
- Run the Zerto 5.5 installer again
The installer should complete as expected.
