Slow Login on DaaS Dynamic Desktops

Issue Description

Slow login when using dynamic desktops is usually caused by Active Setup running. This step is common in Windows upon a user’s first logon. In a dynamic desktop scenario, the user is always logging on for the first time. As a result, the Active Setup steps are not essential and should be disabled.

Solution/Workaround

Remove the following registry entries from the pattern to disable Active Setup. Refresh your pool. *Note: Editing the registry can cause irreparable harm to your system. Green Cloud is not in any way responsible for damage caused to your pattern and/or pool by incorrectly editing the registry.
