Greenville, SC – August 17, 2016 – Green Cloud Technologies, a Greenville, SC-based channel-only cloud technology solutions provider, was ranked 73rd on Inc. Magazine’s 35th annual Inc. 5000, the most prestigious ranking of the nation’s fastest-growing private companies.
The Inc. 5000 list represents the most successful independent small businesses within the US economy. Companies such as Microsoft, Dell, Domino’s Pizza, Pandora, Timberland, LinkedIn, Yelp, Zillow, and many other well-known names gained their first national exposure as honorees of the Inc. 5000. The average company on the list achieved a mind-boggling three-year growth of 433%. The Inc. 5000’s aggregate revenue is $200 billion, and the companies on the list collectively generated 640,000 jobs over the past three years, or about 8% of all jobs created in the entire economy during that period.
By comparison, Green Cloud Technologies’ revenue numbers increased nearly 4,000% over the three-year period examined by Inc. Media in compiling this list.
“We’re really proud to have not only earned this incredible honor, but also to have placed so high on the list,” said Green Cloud CEO, Shay Houser. “I attribute our success to our network of partners, who are driving tremendous revenue in an exciting and growing technology, as well as to the hard work of our team here at Green Cloud. Each Green Cloud employee is a shareholder in the company and that creates a tremendous sense of commitment and pride in everything we do.”
The 2016 Inc. 5000 list was unveiled August 17 at Inc.com. The top 500 companies on the list—including Green Cloud Technologies—will be featured in the September issue of Inc. magazine, available on newsstands August 23. Complete results of the Inc. 5000, including company profiles and an interactive database that can be sorted by industry, region, and other criteria, can be found at www.inc.com/inc5000.
“The Inc. 5000 list stands out where it really counts,” says Inc. President and Editor-In-Chief Eric Schurenberg. “It honors real achievement by a founder or a team of them. No one makes the Inc. 5000 without building something great—usually from scratch. That’s one of the hardest things to do in business, as every company founder knows. But without it, free enterprise fails.”
Green Cloud Technologies provides custom cloud solutions to an exclusive network of reseller partners. By relying on channel-only distribution, Green Cloud can focus on partner enablement without competing for end-user business. The company’s expansive suite of Cisco Powered, cloud-based products, services, and support are scalable to applications of any size—from SMBs to enterprise-class organizations.
